As a wrap up of our month of individual sessions, today’s episode is about how to facilitate individual counseling sessions. These sessions used to be intimidating to me compared to group sessions and classroom lessons. That’s why I created a plan which has allowed me to love individual sessions.

I’m not sure about you, but I feel much more confident when I am organized and prepared. Let’s be honest, there is nothing worse than going into a session without a clear outline for how to address your student’s goals. My plan allows for greater efficacy by providing ways to start the session, the activities to incorporate, and how to address student goals. There will be no more scrambling at the beginning of sessions once you listen to this episode!
