Engaging activities include:
Graduation Party
Students enjoy snacks while answering informal reflection questions about their biggest takeaways and personal growth. Recommended for grades K-8.
Toasting Party
Each student raises a cup of juice to a favorite session, memory or skill, such as using I-statements. Recommended for grades 4-8.
Transformation Reveal
Students show who they were before counseling on one side of a poster and who they are now on the other, then present the poster to the group. Recommended for grades 2-8.
Silly Certificates
The counselor completes a creative award for each student, such as Best Laugh or Most Likely to Become a School Counselor, and shares a specific compliment when presenting it. Recommended for grades K-6.
Scavenger Hunt
Clues lead students to everyday locations such as the sticky notes, the clock and the door, and each stop includes a reflection prompt, such as how they will "stick" to their goals. Recommended for grades 2-8.
