BENEFITING STUDENTS

Each week students will learn executive functioning skills they can use at school for increased academic success.Ā In addition, they will improve communication skills, learn critical thinking, and practice self-reflection.

At a minimum, being in this counseling group allows students to identify and share their feelings, develop self-esteem through participation, and practice empathy while hearing othersā€™ experiences.

SAVING TIME

With easy-to-implement outlines and activities, this executive functioning group curriculum is very low-prep. Simply print out each session before students arrive and keep them in a file folder. The self-assessments are a great way to get students to self-reflect on their progress and you can then share this information with teachers, and parents, or in your program report.

COUNSELORS LIKE YOU SAID...

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Rachel S. says, "This has been a great resource for a group of 5th grade students who need extra support with executive functioning skills. The lessons are easy to implement and the students are really enjoying the activities!"

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Caroline C. says, "My 3rd and 4th grade students loved the group activities and found them very engaging! My students learned a lot and I have seen a huge improvement with their organization skills."

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Kelsey D. says, "I am using this small group as an RTII intervention for a group of 5 4th grade students. The format is wonderful and provides them a greater sense of maturity compared to other elementary products. The ice breakers are probably their favorite part, which is great because they are just practicing the skills we are learning! They are taking the skills we are learning back to class and we are seeing growth on the RTII front (so far). Thank you!"

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Kami W. says, "This was a great small group curriculum with everything ready to go."
