A Feelings Check is essential for every counseling program. I use feelings checks every day in individual and group sessions. They are great for helping students identify their feelings and for facilitating conversations.
Feelings checks are also great for discussing facial cues and body language recognition in regard to identifying feelings. If you have students struggling with feelings recognition try out this feeling recognition digital activity!
