Grief and loss can be challenging topics to discuss with students. This grief workbook is designed to help students express how they are feeling about a loss, reflect on their positive memories, and make a coping plan for when they feel upset.

This grief workbook includes:

  • Portrait of loved one
  • Feelings identification activity
  • Grief and loss coping strategies
  • Letter to loved one template

This resource would be great for younger students that are having a hard time acknowledging a death or loss and expressing their feelings of grief and sadness.

Do you have a student that needs more help managing their grief? Here is my full Tier III individual curriculum for students that are struggling with grief and loss.

This was a very useful resource for my students who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

I have used this resource with a couple of my students who have lost someone who they were very close to. I liked it because it helped the student to concentrate on the good memories. The students took the books home when completed so they can look at it anytime they felt the need to remember the good things about the person they lost.
